Looking for a Great GP Team Without Needing a Traditional Full-Time Schedule? (Full-Time Options Below)

• Interest In - High-Quality Small-Animal General Practice: Arden Shoreview Animal Hospital is looking to add a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to our established, AAHA-accredited small-animal practice in Arden Hills, MN.

This is a growth hire, giving us the opportunity to add another doctor to an established team and continue expanding our ability to care for the pets and families within our community.

Our doctors practice comprehensive small-animal medicine including wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, senior care, dermatology, pain management, chronic disease management, and client education. If you enjoy building long-term relationships with clients while still having the diagnostics, surgical capabilities, and case variety to keep medicine interesting, Arden Shoreview offers a great balance.

• Part-Time Is the Primary Need - But Interested in Full-Time? Let's Talk: Our primary opening is for a part-time veterinarian, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to remain clinically engaged while maintaining more flexibility outside of work.

However, if you're looking for full-time hours, don't count this opportunity out. For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity to create a full-time position by splitting time between Arden Shoreview and another local hospital within our network.

For some veterinarians, a multi-hospital role can actually offer the best of both worlds: the ability to become part of two established teams, experience different caseloads, potentially expand into services or areas of medicine offered at another location, and create a schedule that may work particularly well depending on where you live within the Twin Cities.

• Open to New Graduates or Experienced Veterinarians: We're open to both a new graduate looking for strong mentorship and a supportive place to begin their career and an experienced veterinarian looking for a collaborative GP environment with flexibility and clinical autonomy.

For an experienced DVM, this can be a great opportunity to practice quality medicine without committing to a traditional five-day schedule.

For a new graduate, the combination of an established Medical Lead, experienced doctors and technicians, structured mentorship, and the possibility of exposure to another local hospital can provide an especially broad foundation early in your career. Potential for a multi-hospital mentorship split between 2 hospitals, 2 in clinic mentors, 2 teams to learn from within your first year out of school… something to think about.

• New Graduate Mentorship -benefit from our structured, one-year New Graduate Mentorship Program, including a dedicated Clinical Mentor, intentional schedule overlap, regular mentor meetings, goal-setting, virtual rounds, and coaching around client communication and professional development.

You'll also have access to our 5-day Surgical Mentorship Program, offered year-round in a small-group environment where participants typically complete approximately 20-40 surgeries, along with our 2-day Dental Wet Lab led by a veterinary dental specialist.

• More Than Routine GP - Advanced Medicine & Surgery: Arden Shoreview offers the relationship-focused aspects of traditional general practice while providing doctors with the ability to work up and manage more involved cases.

Clinical capabilities include digital radiology, ultrasound, laboratory diagnostics, comprehensive dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, orthopedic procedures, and TPLO surgery, along with access to specialist collaboration when additional expertise would benefit a patient.

For a veterinarian who wants to continue developing clinically, this creates plenty of opportunity to go beyond vaccines and wellness visits while still enjoying the continuity of GP.

• Experienced Technical Support: Our current team includes multiple Licensed Veterinary Technicians who work alongside our veterinarians to support patient care, diagnostics, anesthesia, procedures, treatments, and client communication.

The hospital offers state-of-the-art testing and diagnostics, digital radiology, ultrasound, comprehensive dentistry, routine and advanced surgery, and additional advanced care capabilities, giving our doctors the tools to investigate cases thoroughly and practice high-quality medicine.

• Collaborative Doctor Team: You'll be joining an established veterinary team that includes an experienced Medical Lead, providing another clinical resource within the hospital for case discussion and collaboration. We want our doctors to have independence as their confidence and experience grow while still knowing there's someone available to bounce a case off of when they need it.
• Arden Shoreview is currently open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM and closed Saturday and Sunday.
