Veterinarian

Berkshire Veterinary Hospital is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to our team.

At our Rarebreed clinic, you can help reimagine the veterinary experience in your community. Berkshire Veterinary Hospital is in a beautiful small animal general practice in Pittsfield, Massachusetts and the scenic Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts. Our facility has digital x-rays and uses AVImark veterinary software. Other than basic wellness exams, we also offer hospice care, euthanasia, laboratory services, dental care, microchipping, heartworm, flea, and tick prevention, surgery, vaccinations, and have a fully stocked pharmacy.

WHAT YOULL DO

• Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets (primarily dogs and cats), and treat surgically or medically.
• Collaborate within our veterinary ecosystem, and communicate with referring veterinarians.
• Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of your field.
• Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients in well pet care.
• Perform dentistries.

REQUIREMENTS

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree.
• Recent graduate friendly!
• 2+ years of experience practicing veterinary medicine in a Veterinary Hospital setting is preferred.
• Internship training is also preferred but not required.
• Ability to attain MA Veterinary License.
• Excel in managing time, prioritizing tasks, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
