Interest in exotics is welcome but not required, and mentorship and leadership growth opportunities are available.

The Role
- Provide high-quality medical and surgical care for dogs, cats, and, if desired, a range of exotics (reptiles, birds, small mammals)
- Manage a varied caseload that includes wellness care, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, and urgent care
- Utilize in-house diagnostics and imaging to guide timely clinical decisions and high-quality treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with clients, ensure thorough medical record keeping, and support continuity of care
- Collaborate with a skilled technical team; mentor colleagues and contribute to a positive, inclusive culture
- Participate in hospital initiatives that enhance patient care, client experience, and efficient clinical workflow

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent from an accredited institution
- License to practice in Alabama (or ability to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States

- New graduates and experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply
