Associate Veterinarian - Full-Time or Part-Time | Center for Animal Health | Wauwatosa, WI

• Interest In: Progressive small-animal general practice in an AAHA-accredited, full-service hospital offering comprehensive wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, advanced diagnostics, dentistry, routine and advanced surgery, senior pet care, dermatology, pain management, acupuncture, laser therapy, ultrasound, radiology, hospice/end-of-life care, and client education. Whether you love preventative medicine, surgery, dentistry, challenging medical cases, or a little bit of everything, there is plenty of opportunity to build a caseload around your strengths and interests.
• Open to Full-Time or Part-Time Veterinarians - Build the Career (and Schedule) That Fits Your Life: Whether you're a new graduate looking for a strong foundation or an experienced veterinarian seeking your next opportunity, we'd love to connect. We recognize that every veterinarian has different career and lifestyle goals, which is why we're open to discussing full-time or part-time opportunities.

New graduates will benefit from our structured, one-year mentorship program designed to help you transition confidently from veterinary school into practice. You'll have a dedicated Clinical Mentor whose schedule intentionally overlaps with yours, along with regular mentor meetings, goal-setting workshops, communication and soft-skill development, and hands-on learning opportunities.

Want additional surgical or dental confidence before stepping into practice? New graduates have access to our 5-day Surgical Mentorship Program, offered year-round in small groups and providing approximately 20-40 hands-on surgeries, as well as a 2-day Dental Wet Lab at our Dental Training Facility in Texas, led by our own veterinary dental specialist.

Experienced veterinarians will enjoy autonomy and collaboration while continuing to invest in their own professional growth, because learning doesn't stop after graduation. • Advanced Medicine + Specialist Collaboration: Center for Animal Health is equipped to manage the majority of patients' medical and surgical needs directly within the hospital. For cases requiring additional expertise, our veterinarians have the ability to consult directly with board-certified specialists within our network, providing another layer of clinical support and helping doctors confidently work through more challenging cases while maintaining continuity of care.
• Supportive, Experienced Technical Staff: Practice alongside a compassionate and knowledgeable support team committed to exceptional patient care. Our team supports doctors through diagnostics, anesthesia and surgical monitoring, dentistry, treatments, laboratory work, patient handling, and client education-allowing veterinarians to focus on practicing high-quality medicine and building meaningful client relationships.
• Facility & Medical Capabilities: As an AAHA-accredited hospital, Center for Animal Health regularly undergoes comprehensive evaluations across areas including patient care, surgery, anesthesia, diagnostic imaging, safety, exam facilities, and client service. The hospital offers state-of-the-art testing and diagnostics, radiology, ultrasound, comprehensive dentistry, routine and advanced surgery, acupuncture, laser therapy, pain management, and additional advanced-care capabilities.
• Collaborative, Relationship-Focused Culture: Center for Animal Health believes in treating clients like family and every pet like our own.
