    Veterinarian – Columbia, SC

     

    A veterinary practice is seeking a Veterinarian to join its collaborative clinical team. This opportunity is ideal for a professional who is passionate about providing high-quality companion animal care, managing a diverse medical and surgical caseload, and delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations for companion animals.

    • Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions while developing individualized treatment plans.

    • Perform routine surgical and dental procedures within the scope of practice.

    • Provide preventive care, wellness services, and client education on animal health.

    • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

    • Maintain accurate and timely medical records.

    • Participate in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives.

    • Uphold high standards of medical care, patient safety, and client service.

    Qualifications

    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.

    • Active or eligible veterinary license in the state of practice.

    • Experience in companion animal medicine is preferred.

    • Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and collaborative teamwork.
