The Hospital

The clinic operates seven days a week, including a weekend walk-in preventive and vaccine clinic, serving a loyal client base and active rescue partners. Veterinarians are backed by skilled technicians and cross-trained support staff, promoting collaboration and hands-on learning across the practice.
- On-site diagnostics and treatment: in-house lab, digital X-ray, ultrasound, dental radiography, and an on-site pharmacy
- Fully equipped surgical suite with standard surgical monitoring
- Electronic medical records to streamline workflow
- Patient and client conveniences: online appointment booking, automated reminders, online pharmacy, free parking, financing options, and Spanish-speaking team members

- No overnight emergency service; urgent after-hours cases are referred to nearby emergency providers

The Role
- Perform comprehensive exams, develop diagnostic and treatment plans, and manage follow-up care
- Provide general surgery and dentistry with appropriate surgical monitoring
- Interpret diagnostics from in-house lab work and imaging, and coordinate with the on-site pharmacy
- Deliver clear, empathetic client communication and education
- Maintain accurate medical records and controlled substance protocols
- Collaborate with the hospital manager and medical team on priorities, protocols, and workflow
- Support the weekend walk-in preventive clinic as scheduled
- No overnight on-call; after-hours emergencies are referred to local emergency facilities

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- Current Colorado veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain and maintain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- 1+ year of clinical experience preferred; strong medicine, surgery, and dentistry skills
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and client-service abilities
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment; able to safely handle and lift up to 50 pounds
