Job Description

Livewell Animal Hospital of Green Valley Ranch is a brand-new, full-service companion animal hospital serving pets and pet parents across Denver's Green Valley Ranch, Northeast, Montbello, and Tower Triangle neighborhoods. Since opening in 2026, we've built our practice on a simple philosophy: Loving them well means caring for them well. That means personalized care plans, preventative medicine, same-day availability, walk-in access, and a whole lot of extra snuggles.

We offer comprehensive care under one roof, including wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, and urgent care - all supported by state-of-the-art equipment and modern best practices.

We are looking for an associate DVM to join our 2-doctor practice in the spring/summer of 2027!

As the founding DVM of Livewell Green Valley Ranch, Dr. LeVon combines a diverse clinical background with her passion for teaching and mentorship. She believes great mentorship isn't about having all the answers - it's about creating an environment where veterinarians can ask questions, work through cases, build confidence, and continuously grow.

Whether your interests are surgery, urgent care, emergency medicine, dentistry, general practice, or expanding your experience with exotic and pocket pets, Livewell offers an opportunity to learn through hands-on mentorship and collaborative case management.

What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive wellness, preventative, and age-specific care through thorough, nose-to-tail examinations
• Diagnose and treat medical, surgical, and dental conditions in dogs and cats
• Develop your skills working with select exotic and pocket-pet species
• Evaluate urgent and same-day cases while developing strong triage and stabilization skills
• Manage cases from initial presentation through diagnostics, treatment, follow-up, and client communication, including urgent care cases and performing routine soft tissue surgical procedure.
• Obtain USDA accreditation and maintain the credentials necessary to complete domestic and international health certificates
• Build lasting relationships with clients through clear, compassionate, and transparent communication
• Collaborate closely with the entire veterinary team in a culture where questions, feedback, and continued learning are encouraged

What We're Looking For

• Current DVM license in Colorado
• USDA-accredited veterinarian status, or willingness and eligibility to obtain USDA accreditation
• Strong interest in developing skills across general practice, urgent care, and surgery
• Interest in learning or expanding experience with exotic and pocket-pet species is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a client-centered approach to veterinary medicine
• A team-oriented mindset and willingness to both give and receive real-time feedback
• Someone who is dependable, curious, willing to learn, and excited to grow with a new hospital
