Location: South Florida Pet Emergency (Hialeah, FL)

Position Type: Full-Time

Language Requirement: Bilingual (English & Spanish)

GQ Animal Clinic is seeking an entrepreneurial, fully bilingual Lead Veterinarian to head our newly renovated, high-efficiency boutique practice in Hialeah, FL. This solo DVM role is designed for a growth-minded practitioner who wants clinical autonomy on the floor, backed by a robust administrative support group, an elite medical team, and a clear pathway to growth.

Practice & Team Overview

  • Elite Support Ratio: You are backed by an exceptionally strong, fully bilingual on-site team. This high staff-to-DVM ratio ensures maximum leverage so you can focus purely on medicine and surgery, not administrative bottlenecks.

  • The Facility: A completely renovated, upscale, boutique 2-exam-room clinic engineered for a streamlined workflow and high-margin casework.

  • The Caseload: A dynamic mix of general practice wellness, surgery, comprehensive dentistry, and urgent care triage.

  • The Community: The clinic serves a highly loyal, predominantly Spanish-speaking local demographic. Fluent bilingual communication is required to effectively lead the team and build client trust.

What We Offer (Compensation & Career Growth)

  • Competitive Base Salary + Production Bonuses * True Clinical Autonomy: No corporate constraints, rigid formularies, or top-down metric tracking.

  • Collaborative Mentorship: Standardized support, secondary case-opinions, and direct collaboration with our Medical Director and veteran DVM team at our sister location (Nob Hill Animal Clinic).

  • Full Benefits: Health insurance, 401(k) with company match, Paid Time Off (PTO), Continuing Education (CE), license/association fee reimbursements, and employee discounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality medical, routine wellness, urgent care, and surgical care for small animals.

  • Perform common soft-tissue surgeries, spay/neuter procedures, and dentals/extractions.

  • Utilize advanced in-house diagnostics, including digital radiology and full CBC/CHEM lab suites.

  • Lead, train, and maximize the floor efficiency of your dedicated technician and veterinary assistant team.

  • Educate clients on treatment plans and medical conditions with empathy and clarity in both English and Spanish.

  • Maintain accurate, streamlined electronic medical records using integrated software tools.

Position Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.

  • Active Florida Veterinary License in good standing (or eligible for immediate licensure).

  • Fluent bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal, reading, and writing) is mandatory.

  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive interest in clinical efficiency and practice growth.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to manage a standalone caseload with high-level team support.

  • Experienced DVMs ready for standalone leadership are preferred; however, highly motivated recent graduates with strong surgical confidence and an independent drive will be considered under our regional mentorship framework.
