Description

This Relief Veterinarian opportunity in East Hartford, CT offers compensation up to $150,000. It provides an excellent platform to practice high-quality medicine within a collaborative, well-supported team.

The Hospital
This is a full-service, AAHA-accredited small animal practice known for consistent standards, continuing education, and strong client relationships. The hospital is well-reviewed by local pet owners and operates with a multi-doctor, team-based model supported by skilled technicians and client service staff. Clinicians have access to digital imaging, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, dedicated dental and surgery suites, and an in-house pharmacy. The facility supports hospitalized patients with an isolation ward and oxygen/transfusion therapy. The practice offers chemotherapy for patients but does not list a board-certified oncologist on site; this can be framed as an opportunity to collaborate with or refer to specialists while delivering medical oncology treatments locally. A supportive culture emphasizes mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and a rotating schedule with some weekend coverage in a hands-on, modern setting.
