The Hospital

The facility features on-site surgical and dental suites, radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, dental radiography, and laser therapy. Extended hours (7:00 am to 10:00 pm, seven days a week) support patient access and a strong community presence, including partnership work that supports after-hours emergency coverage for local animal services. Visiting board-certified specialists in key disciplines provide additional case support and learning opportunities. The Role
- Provide comprehensive care for dogs, cats, rabbits, pocket pets, and select exotics
- Manage wellness, sick, and urgent-care visits within a supportive, team-based workflow
- Perform dentistry (including dental radiography) and soft-tissue surgeries
- Utilize in-house imaging, ultrasound, and endoscopy for diagnostics and case management
- Collaborate with visiting board-certified specialists on advanced cases
- Oversee and manage hospitalized patients with RVT support, including overnight nursing care
- Educate and communicate with clients to ensure excellent continuity of care
- Full-time or part-time schedules available; shifts fall within 7:00 am to 10:00 pm with rotating weekends; participation in emergency and community-case coverage may be included

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in California (or ability to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
- Comfort with, or interest in learning, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, and urgent care
- Experience with exotics is welcome but not required
