Veterinarian to join the team!

Pender Veterinary Centre is a busy,
20,000 sq. ft., 24-hour full-service veterinary practice serving Northern Virginia
for over 50 years. Our practice includes a dedicated exotic department, small
animal practice, emergency practice, dual surgery suites, and in-house referral
quality lab. Our veterinarians and staff are passionate about veterinary
medicine, continuous learning, and client service. We continually seek

The Emergency/Attending Veterinarian is responsible for
providing standard ER care as well as managing the care for hospitalized and
surgical patients. This DVM will also have the support of another ER DVM with
3-4 assistants with a 4 day on/off schedule.

Continuous ECG, pulse oximetry, capnography,
and blood pressure through multi-parameter monitors

In-house lab capabilities (Hormone Assays,
CBC, chemistry, electrolyte, co-ag monitors, cross-matching and more) for rapid
results
·
Telecytology with 20 minute turn around
capabilities to lab
·
Endoscopic equipment with biopsy instruments
and large screen TV
·
Fully-stocked closed pharmacy with dedicated
pharmacy techs
·
24/7/365 support from Emergency/Critical Care
staff to facilitate overnight/weekend patient care and critical care patient
needs
