The Role
- Full-time position, typically averaging four days per week
- Deliver comprehensive exams, medical work-ups, and case management across preventive, internal medicine, and urgent-care needs
- Perform routine soft-tissue surgery and dentistry
- Utilize in-house lab, imaging, and well-equipped surgical suites to support efficient, high-quality care
- Communicate clearly with clients to guide diagnostics, treatment plans, and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records and uphold controlled-substance protocols
- Collaborate across hospital teams and adapt to varied workflows; occasional travel within Connecticut as scheduled to support nearby practices
- Contribute to continuous improvement by participating in rounds, case discussions, and protocol refinement
Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- License (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in Connecticut
- Eligibility to work in the United States
