The Role
- Full-time small-animal general practice in a retail-integrated setting
- Deliver preventive care, wellness and sick-pet exams, and client education
- Perform and oversee routine surgeries (including spay/neuter) and dental procedures
- Utilize digital radiography, dental X-ray, and in-house lab diagnostics
- Manage anesthesia, surgical recovery, and pain control protocols
- Provide oversight for drop-off cases and collaborate with medical grooming workflows
- Prescribe and counsel on medications through in-house and online pharmacy systems
- Partner closely with a skilled support team to maintain efficient, high-standard care
- Contribute to a respectful, inclusive culture focused on communication and teamwork

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
