Full Time or Part-Time Associate Veterinarian Opportunity - Fort Street Veterinarian | Omaha, NE

• Interest In: Small-animal general practice in a progressive, full-service companion animal hospital offering comprehensive wellness and preventative care, advanced diagnostics, internal medicine, dentistry, routine and advanced soft-tissue surgery, pain management, urgent care, senior pet care, behavioral medicine, rehabilitation, reproductive services, and client education. Our collaborative approach and access to board-certified specialists within our network allow doctors to confidently manage a wide variety of medical and surgical cases while continuing to grow their clinical interests.

New graduates will benefit from our well-developed, structured one-year mentorship program, a true mentorship experience designed to help you transition confidently into practice. Your schedule intentionally overlaps with your dedicated Clinical Mentor, ensuring you're never navigating cases alone. Throughout the year you'll participate in mentor meetings, goal-setting workshops, and soft-skill coaching focused on communication and professional development.

Before your first day in practice, you'll have opportunities to build confidence through hands-on surgical and dental wet labs. Our 5-day Surgical Mentorship Program, offered year-round, provides customized learning in a small-group setting where participants typically perform 20-40 surgeries under the guidance of experienced mentors. You'll also attend a 2-day Dental Wet Lab at our Dental Training Facility, led by one of our board-certified dental specialists to build confidence in foundational dentistry before entering practice.

Experienced veterinarians will enjoy the autonomy, collaboration, and support to continue growing their clinical interests because learning doesn't stop after graduation. In addition to generous continuing education benefits, you'll have access to our Clinical Tracks Program, offering complimentary RACE-approved CE facilitated by our own board-certified veterinary specialists. Whether your passion is surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, leadership, or another area of veterinary medicine, we'll help you continue developing the skills and interests that matter most to you.
