Join a well-regarded small-animal hospital in Grand Prairie, TX as an Associate Veterinarian, with compensation up to $135,000. Signing, retention and relocation packages up to $75,000.

The Role
- Deliver high-quality preventive, medical and surgical care to canine, feline and select avian/exotic patients
- Perform comprehensive exams, diagnostics and treatment planning, including interpreting radiographs and ultrasound findings
- Provide surgical and dental care with an emphasis on patient safety and pain management
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, presenting options and educating on preventive care
- Maintain accurate medical records and follow controlled substance protocols
- Collaborate closely with technicians and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent client service
- Participate in daily case discussions and help uphold hospital standards and protocols
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture focused on integrity, compassion and clinical excellence

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- Active license (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in Texas
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in a veterinary practice
- Strong clinical, surgical and dental skills with excellent client communication
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
