The Role
- Perform comprehensive patient exams, diagnostics and treatment planning.
- Conduct routine soft-tissue surgery and dentistry with a focus on anesthesia, pain management and safety.
- Utilize in-house lab, digital radiography and ultrasound to guide case management.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients to build trust and ensure understanding.
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records and uphold controlled substance protocols.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership on clinical protocols, case reviews and efficient appointment flow.
- Participate in daily rounds when appropriate and support a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
- Schedule includes weekdays with rotating Saturday coverage.

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- Active Oregon veterinary license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- At least 1 year of experience in a veterinary practice
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills; comfortable with routine surgery and dentistry
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work a rotating Saturday schedule
