This year-round practice provides urgent care, general medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, acupuncture, and comprehensive care for dogs, cats, pocket pets, reptiles, birds, and even aquatic species. With advanced technology and a mission to deliver exceptional medical care to the island community, the hospital is ready to welcome a leader who will help shape its future.

About the Role

In this key leadership position, the Medical Director will drive positive change, elevate standards of care, and champion a collaborative, growth-focused culture.

Working closely with the practice manager and hospital leadership, this individual will:

• Guide the medical team toward excellence in patient and client care
• Support and mentor veterinarians in developing their clinical and leadership skills
• Help craft and implement strategies that promote hospital success and staff development

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent
• Active State Veterinary Board License in good standing (or able to obtain prior to start)
• Active DEA license or eligibility
