Job Description

A busy, AAHA-accredited small-animal hospital in Miami is hiring a full-time Veterinarian, with compensation up to $150,000. This opportunity offers a supportive, well-equipped team in a vibrant, multicultural city.

The Role
- Full-time primary care veterinarian serving companion animals in a general practice setting
- Provide preventive care, internal medicine, routine surgery, and dentistry
- Utilize on-site laboratory and diagnostic imaging to guide medical decisions
- Create individualized treatment plans and maintain thorough medical records
- Communicate clearly with clients across a diverse community, using interpretation services when needed
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and client service teams; contribute to mentorship and positive culture
- Support a weekend rotation and assist with drop-off appointments
- Uphold AAHA standards and contribute to continuous quality improvement

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary program
- Active Florida veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or eligibility) for controlled substances
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and client-service skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, retail-adjacent environment with weekend availability
- Commitment to preventive, high-quality, and compassionate care
