  Responsibilities<\/b>
  <\/p>

  • Diagnose, treat, and care for companion animals
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Operate diagnostic equipment, interpret results, and craft treatment plans
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Educate clients on preventative care and treatment options
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Perform surgery and prescribe medications
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Provide compassionate end -of -life care
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Maintain patient medical records and uphold veterinary ethics
    <\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    Requirements<\/b>
    <\/p>

    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited AVMA institution
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Appropriate state licensure and eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Ability to lift/carry patients and equipment up to 25 pounds (with assistance for heavier loads)
      <\/p><\/li><\/ul>
