Veterinarian - Pinellas

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Wellness Veterinarian to join our team! In this role, you'll provide top-notch preventative care while having the opportunity to perform surgeries for owned pets. If you're passionate about promoting animal health and well-being, and enjoy the challenge and variety that comes with surgery, don't miss out!!! Our Pinellas Campus is expanding to open our clinic in September/October. As Florida's first non-profit animal hospital to achieve AAHA accreditation, at our Tampa location, we pride ourselves on meeting the critical need for accessible veterinary services in our community. This position is full-time, with benefits, and may require working a weekend day in the future.

Education: Must possess a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine

Experience: Must possess a valid State of Florida license to practice veterinary medicine and have at least one year of experience in a veterinary clinic or animal shelter.

Skills: Must be personable, able to communicate with and direct staff and work as a member of a team. Must be able to life 50 pounds on a regular basis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• DVM Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree
• Has and maintains a Valid and Current State of Florida Veterinarian License
• Computer skills required: Internet Software; (Outlook); and Shelter Luv software (or similar software).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

• Ability to walk, climb stairs and ladders, run, stoop, bend, stand, push, pull, move and carry heavy objects.
• Standing for long periods.
• Work in a fast paced and busy environment
