The Role
- Provide small-animal general practice care, including wellness, sick visits, surgery, and dentistry
- Perform examinations, build diagnostic and treatment plans, and communicate clearly with clients
- Utilize in-house lab, digital imaging, and ultrasound capabilities to support timely, high-quality care
- Perform general surgery and dental procedures aligned with interests and experience
- Collaborate with a skilled technician team; mentorship available and encouraged
- Maintain accurate medical records and leverage client-friendly tools such as appointment apps and online pharmacy services
Requirements
- DVM/VMD or equivalent from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Vermont (or ability to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Excellent communication skills and a client-centered approach
- Surgical proficiency and general practice experience preferred; motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
