An established small animal practice is seeking a dedicated Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their growing team in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. This role focuses solely on urgent and same-day cases—no routine wellness appointments—allowing doctors to concentrate on providing timely care for pets in need. The position offers a supportive team, modern facilities, and an opportunity to expand your skills while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with clients to guide treatment decisions and care plans

  • Work collaboratively with a skilled technical team to ensure smooth case flow

  • Maintain accurate patient records and uphold high medical standards

  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment and support staff development

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

  • DVM/VMD degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent through ECFVG or PAVE)

  • Active veterinary license in good standing within the state (or eligibility to obtain)

  • Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and time-management skills

  • Ability to provide calm, confident care in a fast-paced setting

Benefits

  • Competitive and flexible compensation package

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance

  • Paid continuing education and professional dues

  • Professional liability coverage

  • Generous paid time off and parental leave
