Dorset Street Animal Hospital (opening April 2026) is hiring a Full-Time Urgent Care Veterinarian to provide high-quality urgent and emergency medical care for companion animals. This role is ideal for veterinarians who enjoy the excitement of urgent care while working within a supportive, team-first culture-without overnight ER shifts.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
• Active Vermont veterinary license or the ability to obtain one
• Experience or strong interest in urgent care or emergency medicine
• Calm, compassionate demeanor and excellent client communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
