Coffee Road Animal Hospital in Bakersfield, California, is looking for a part-time or full-time veterinarian with a passion for surgery.

This role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys performing soft tissue procedures, including spays and neuters of all sizes, and is interested in expanding into more advanced surgical cases over time. You'll work alongside a collaborative leadership team with the equipment, skilled support staff, and resources needed to practice high-quality medicine and continue growing your surgical expertise.

• Modern, well-equipped facility featuring 4 exam rooms, a dedicated surgical suite, and an in-house IDEXX laboratory.
• Advanced diagnostic technology, including brand-new ultrasound, digital radiography, air dentistry, and digital dental radiography.
• Surgical opportunities ranging from routine procedures to soft tissue surgery, and cesarean sections.
• Extensive dental caseload with frequent opportunities to perform dental procedures using digital dental radiography.
• Emphasis on pain management to support optimal patient comfort and recovery.
• Full-service pet resort offering boarding, daycare, and professional grooming.

Compensation & Benefits

• $100-$150/hour or $120,000-$150,000 annually, depending on experience (DOE). Final compensation is based on experience, surgical procedures performed, and hours worked
• Flexible scheduling
