Veterinarian technicians job details will consist of : assisting the doctors with procedures; caring for clients pets in the clinic and out in the field for appointments, surgeries, hospitalization and boarding. Filling prescriptions, communicating with clients in person and on the phone, performing procedures : nail trims, anal gland expressions, ear cleaning and other daily. Works hours are 4 to 5 days a week with kennels on the weekends, approximately 8 to 9 hours per day.
