The Hospital
This full-service practice cares for small animals and also offers equine and ambulatory equine services. The team is known for relationship-focused medicine, collaborative case discussions, and a welcoming, high-touch approach to client service. Doctors are supported by trained technicians and client service professionals, with an average of about 12-14 patients per doctor per day and a support staff ratio around 2:1 to help maintain a smooth workflow. On-site capabilities include digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory testing, and a dedicated dental suite, along with fully equipped surgery and treatment areas, an on-site pharmacy, and boarding/daycare. The hospital is seeking a small-animal-only veterinarian who values mentorship, teamwork, and clinical excellence.

The Role
- Provide comprehensive small-animal care including wellness, preventive medicine, and client education
- Diagnose and manage medical cases; collaborate on urgent/illness care during business hours
- Perform soft-tissue surgery and dentistry with a dedicated dental suite
- Utilize on-site diagnostics including digital imaging and in-house laboratory testing
- Partner effectively with technicians and client service staff to deliver efficient, high-touch care
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold quality and safety protocols
- Participate in case discussions and mentoring within a collaborative, teaching-focused culture
- Typical daily volume averages about 12-14 patients per doctor; opportunities to observe or collaborate with equine colleagues if desired (not required)

Requirements
- DVM/VMD or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Eligible for and able to obtain a Georgia veterinary license
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach
