About the Role:
Join PCIFIC PET CARE INC as a Veterinary Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in providing compassionate care to our furry patients. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a dedicated team in beautiful Camarillo, CA.



Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service to pet owners and clients.
• Monitor and care for animals post-treatment and during recovery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic.
• Educate pet owners on proper care and health practices.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; veterinary assistant certification preferred.
• Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
• Basic knowledge of animal health and behavior.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification for pets is a plus.
