Veterinary Assistant / Roomer
We are a busy, fast-paced veterinary hospital looking for a friendly, dependable, and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team. We are seeking someone who enjoys working with people and pets alike, thrives in a team environment, and is eager to learn and grow within the veterinary field.
This position plays an important role in creating a positive experience for our clients and patients by helping maintain efficient room flow, supporting our veterinarians and technicians, and providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:
- Room clients and obtain patient histories.
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during appointments and treatments.
- Restrain pets safely and compassionately.
- Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms.
- Assist with patient care, treatments, and basic procedures.
- Help maintain hospital cleanliness and organization.
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members.
- Support overall hospital flow and patient experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous veterinary, kennel, animal care, or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy hospital setting.
- Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40–50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability is required.
