Our experienced team provides compassionate, high-quality veterinary care for dogs and cats in Cape Coral and surrounding communities, delivering personalized, patient-centered services across preventive, medical, urgent care, and surgical care in a welcoming environment.

Hours: Sunday- Saturday, 7:00 AM-6:00 PM

The Role

As a Veterinary/Kennel Assistant, you''ll support our medical team and contribute to the daily care and well-being of hospitalized, boarding, and outpatient pets.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Providing compassionate care, handling, and restraint of pets
  • Feeding, exercising, and monitoring boarding and hospitalized animals
  • Cleaning and maintaining kennels, treatment areas, and equipment
  • Assisting veterinarians and technicians during appointments and procedures
  • Performing laundry, stocking supplies, and maintaining hospital cleanliness
  • Admitting and discharging boarding patients as directed
  • Observing pets for changes in behavior or health and reporting concerns to the medical team
  • Delivering exceptional client service and representing the hospital professionally

Experience & Skills Requirements:

  • Kennel Technician or Veterinary Assistant.
  • Veterinary experience preferred but not required for assistant-level candidates
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Compassion for pets and people
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and support a collaborative culture

Some benefits are available only to full-time team members working 30 hours or more per week and may be subject to waiting periods or length-of-service requirements.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with a hourly pay rate starting at $16-$17/hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location
