Veterinary Assistant

Murray Hill Veterinary Associates is looking for someone who loves animals, people, and wants to be part of a high-quality, team-based veterinary practice.

About the role
You’ll work directly with veterinarians and technicians, helping support great patient and client care. No two days look the same. You’ll learn hands-on skills and be involved in meaningful clinical work as you grow.

What you’ll get to do

• Support doctors and technicians during exams + procedures

• Help care for pets (walking, feeding, cleaning, comforting)

• Help keep treatment + kennel areas clean, safe, and organized

• Learn safe animal handling + restraint in a fear-friendly way

• Learn how to prepare equipment, monitor patients, & assist with patient care

• Partner with our team in educating pet parents and improving lives

Experience that is helpful (but not required)

• Previous kennel / daycare experience

• Prior vet clinic exposure

• Handling dogs + cats comfortably
