We’re currently seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated and compassionate team.

Schedule: Full- time opportunity. 4 x 8 hours or 4 x10 hours shifts with occasional weekends in our boarding facility.

Compensation: . The starting range for Veterinary Assistants is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field.

What You'll Do (Day-to-Day Responsibilities):

• Provide compassionate care and handling of patients, including feeding, cleaning, and walking as needed

• Support the veterinary team by assisting Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians with daily tasks and treatments

• Maintain clean and organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and kennels

• Prepare exam rooms for patient visits and assist during exams and procedures as directed

• Ensure proper restraint of animals during exams or treatments

• Assist with patient intake and discharge, including reviewing take-home instructions

• Monitor and report changes in patients’ condition to the veterinary team

Qualifications:

• A passion for animals and a desire to learn and grow in the veterinary field

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments

• High school diploma or equivalent required
