Job Description

Join a growing team in a modern newly rebuilt hospital, Animal Medical Center of Moss Bluff, is expanding and were looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated and compassionate team. We reopened in a brand-new state-of-the-art facility in 2023 after our original hospital was destroyed by Hurricane Laura-and now were ready to grow with the right people on board. Our hospital is a busy small animal general practice just outside of Lake Charles, LA. We handle everything from routine exams and wellness to more advanced surgeries.

To support our expanding doctor team, were looking for someone with at least 1 year of hands-on veterinary assistant experience who can hit the ground running.

What Were Looking For

Minimum 1 year of experience in a veterinary hospital Solid understanding of restraint techniques and animal behavior Familiarity with vaccination protocols, medications, and medical terminology Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment A true team player who communicates well and brings a positive attitude to every shift
