What You'll Be Doing:
As a Veterinary Assistant, you’ll be a vital part of our team, helping ensure that every client and patient receives the exceptional care they deserve. Your responsibilities will include:
Welcoming and registering clients and patients
Scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate medical records
Assisting during exams and procedures
Observing and reporting on patient behavior and condition
Supporting lab test setups and managing patient files
Feeding, walking, and monitoring patients
Taking vital signs and prepping for treatment
Keeping the facility clean, organized, and well-stocked
What We’re Looking For:
- 1 year of experience in veterinary medicine
- Comfortable with IV catheter placement and phlebotomy
- Comfortable with anesthesia
High school diploma or GED (required)
Customer service experience + basic Microsoft Office skills
Preferred: Veterinary Assistant diploma or program completion
Comfort with basic restraint techniques for dogs and cats
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically active work
- Ability to work 5 days per week (8 hour shifts) with weekend availability
