Job Description

Are you a board-certified Cardiologist, an experienced residency-trained Cardiologist, or nearing the completion of your residency? If so, this position offers an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new, state-of-the-art multi-specialty and emergency hospital in Austin, Texas.

Practice / Hospital / Referral Centre Information

This hospital is scheduled to open in November 2025 and will operate as a 24/7 emergency and multi-specialty center. The facility spans 30,000 sq ft and is designed with advanced technology and modern architecture to provide an outstanding environment for patient care and collaboration.

Departments

You will be part of a growing Cardiology department that works closely with Emergency and other specialty services to deliver comprehensive care to patients.

Equipment

The hospital will feature cutting-edge technology and diagnostic tools, including:

  • Advanced imaging systems
  • State-of-the-art surgical suites
  • In-house laboratory and rapid diagnostics
  • Specialized ICU and treatment areas

Staffing Levels

Qualifications Required

  • ACVIM Cardiology certification from the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine or ECVIM Cardiology certification from the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine
  • Current state veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA registration (or eligibility)
