About you:
The ideal candidate brings prior hands-on experience working on the clinical floor in a veterinary setting and possesses strong written and verbal communication skills. This individual is confident supporting both the medical and client service aspects of a busy hospital environment and can seamlessly adapt to a fast-paced workflow.
Strong technical veterinary technician skills are required, including the ability to assist with patient care, support medical teams as needed, and confidently navigate clinical responsibilities. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in veterinary terminology, comfortable discussing basic medical information with clients, and capable of scheduling a variety of appointment types, processing medication refill requests, and answering routine client questions with professionalism and empathy.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate communication between pet owners and the medical team while helping maintain efficient hospital operations, exceptional client service, and high-quality patient care.

Compensation:
Depending on level of experience - $19.50-$24.00 an hour.
Anticipated Schedule:
This is a Full-Time position:
Monday - Friday - 9am-5pm

Requirements:
- Prior experience as a veterinary technician and veterinary client services is strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for client care.
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology or a willingness to learn.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, and staff.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a warm, friendly, and empathetic approach to clients and their pets.
- Ability to handle challenging client situations with tact, patience, and understanding.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with veterinarians, technicians, and other staff members to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Flexibility to assist with other duties as needed and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially in high-stress or emotional situations.
- Willingness to continue learning and stay updated on best practices in client service and veterinary care.
- Knowledge of the procedures used for scheduling patients, receiving, treating, ordering medical supplies, and requesting laboratory tests.
- Knowledge of the use, care, and storage of veterinary instruments, materials, and equipment.
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques to sterilize various instruments and materials.
- Knowledge of the instruments, materials, and standardized procedures used in the full variety of treatments to make preparations and provide “tableside” assistance.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing client and personal services. This includes client needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of client satisfaction.
