Bargersville Veterinary Hospital and Wellness Center is looking for a Client Service Representative to join us as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

We offer a wide variety of services ranging from wellness and preventative care to specialties like hospice care, surgical services, and services associated with Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM). We are Fear Free certified and AAHA accredited.

Your Experience & Skills

  • Previous customer service experience in a veterinary setting preferred
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of veterinary services, including vaccines, preventions, and prescription processes (or willingness to learn quickly)
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving

You're Willing And Able To

  • Manage a high volume of incoming and outgoing phone calls with professionalism and efficiency
  • Schedule appointments, provide accurate information, and triage calls appropriately
  • Greet clients and patients warmly, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
  • Maintain clear, compassionate, and effective communication with clients, veterinarians, and team members
  • Educate clients on basic veterinary topics, including vaccines, parasite prevention, and online pharmacy use
  • Accurately enter and update client and patient information in the practice management system
  • Process payments, invoices, and financial transactions
  • Assist with prescription requests and coordinate with the online pharmacy platform
  • Support workflow by relaying messages and ensuring timely follow-up with clients
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable lobby and front desk area at all times
  • Monitor and restock retail products, including tracking food inventory counts
  • Ensure client-facing areas reflect clinic standards for cleanliness and professionalism
