Looking for a fast-paced, meaningful weekend role where no two nights are the same? Join our emergency & specialty veterinary team as a Weekend Overnight Client Service Representative (CSR) and become the compassionate first point of contact for pets and the people who love them.

Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:


Client Care & Communication
  • Welcome clients with empathy, professionalism, and compassion during emergency and specialty visits
  • Answer phones, triage incoming calls, and coordinate urgent patient admissions
  • Serve as a liaison between pet owners, veterinarians, technicians, and referring veterinarians (pDVMs)
  • Provide patient updates under veterinary direction and support clients through emotional situations
Veterinary Reception & Front Desk Support
  • Schedule emergency visits and specialty consultations
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the EMR system
  • Process intake forms, consent paperwork, and medical records efficiently
  • Keep the front desk, lobby, and client areas organized and professional
Financial Coordination
  • Secure deposits and process payments for emergency services and hospitalizations
  • Educate clients on treatment estimates, financial policies, and financing options such as CareCredit and Scratchpay
  • Perform basic auditing of invoices and charges for accuracy
Overnight Emergency Support
  • Assist with patient flow and client visitation coordination
  • Support emergency triage and intake during high-volume situations
  • Prepare paperwork for hospitalized patients and specialty procedures
  • Help maintain smooth communication between departments throughout the overnight shift

Preferred Qualifications


  • Previous veterinary receptionist, veterinary assistant, emergency veterinary, or specialty hospital experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with strong emotional intelligence
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced emergency veterinary environment
  • Basic understanding of veterinary terminology and emergency presentations
  • Experience with veterinary software systems such as Instinct or VIA is a plus
  • Comfortable discussing finances and processing payments with clients
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with pets up to 40 lbs if needed
