| Job Description: | University of Florida’s Veterinary Community Outreach Program (VCOP) is recruiting a veterinary assistant. The VCOP program is designed to introduce students to the challenges of veterinary practice in both community and shelter environments and give experience in spay and neuter techniques plus preventative medicine of canines and felines. Example of Veterinary Assistant Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to: • Patient Care & Husbandry • Hospital and Service Cleanliness and Organization • Client Service/Administrative Support as needed The service receives Monday - Friday. May require working earlier than 7:45am or later than 5:00pm |
| Expected Salary: | $15-16 /hour |
| Preferred | 1-year experience in Veterinary Medicine Certified Veterinary Assistant certification |
