The Hospital
- 24/7 emergency and intensive care coverage with a high-acuity caseload
- AAHA-accredited referral practice committed to gold-standard medicine
- Multidisciplinary team including emergency, surgery, internal medicine, radiology, and rehabilitation for seamless case collaboration
- Strong clinical support with experienced ER veterinarians, licensed veterinary technicians, and a rotating internship program that fosters teaching and mentorship
- Advanced on-site diagnostics and therapeutics: CT, digital radiography, ultrasound and echocardiography, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, nuclear medicine, in-house laboratory, oxygen and hyperbaric oxygen therapy
- Multiple surgical suites and a dedicated rehabilitation service with appropriate therapy modalities
- 24-hour ICU/hospitalization with comprehensive monitoring and blood transfusion capabilities

The Role
- Lead critical care for high-acuity patients in a 24/7 ICU, collaborating closely with emergency and specialty teams
- Direct stabilization and advanced case management, including ventilatory support, transfusion medicine, and point-of-care to advanced diagnostics
- Guide triage protocols, oversee ICU monitoring, and ensure evidence-based treatment plans
- Communicate clearly with clients and referring veterinarians to support excellent continuity of care
- Teach and mentor interns and technical staff; contribute to quality improvement initiatives and CE activities
- Flexible scheduling options include full-time and part-time arrangements

Requirements
- DVM or equivalent degree
- Board-certified by ACVECC or residency-trained in Emergency and Critical Care
- Licensure in Tennessee (or ability to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the US
- Strong collaborative, teaching, and communication skills
