With more than 20 doctors and a team of 75+ staff members, we provide professional veterinary care 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Our hospital is well equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, MRI, multiple fully equipped surgical suites, telemetry, and comprehensive ICU facilities designed to support complete inpatient care. We also maintain a robust in-house laboratory.

Our team includes receptionists, veterinary assistants, licensed veterinary technicians, and doctors working together to deliver excellent care to our patients and clients. Job Summary Requirements:

Extensive equine / large animal knowledge, handling practices, restraint, and a basic knowledge of general sanitation principles is REQUIRED.

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct a variety of cleaning duties throughout the hospital. Provide restraint for both inpatient and outpatient procedures performed in the Equine/large animal hospital as needed.
• Understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
• Perform daily maintenance cleaning in a timely efficient and thorough manner.
• Uphold proper safety protocols.
• Properly restrain each type of animal presented.
• Multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Interact with supervisors & co-workers in a friendly, team-oriented manner.
• Proficiently perform any lawful task asked of by the veterinarians or technicians.

Specific Duties:

• Restraint of animals presented for procedures.
• Cleaning up after procedures performed throughout hospital (Standing OR, Radiology, Equine exam rooms, etc.)
• Restock ordered inventory.
• Turn over recovery stalls after surgical and MRI procedures.
• Assist the veterinarians and technicians as needed.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate starting at $18-20/hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
