Tolland Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist for a full-time position. We're a privately owned practice offering $19–$23/hr, a 401(k) match, a CE allowance, and zero overnights or late-night emergency shifts. What You'll Do
- Welcome clients and pets warmly, and handle check-in and check-ou
- Answer multi-line phones, respond to emails, and schedule appointments
- Update records in our practice management software and process payments
- Handle prescription and food refill requests
- Keep clients informed and work closely with doctors and technicians
- Bring calm and compassion to stressful or emotional visits
What We're Looking For
- Veterinary reception or medical front-desk experience (required)
- Strong hospitality skills and a genuine love of animals and their people
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Empathy and a calm, reassuring presence
- A dependable, positive, team-first attitude
