Qualifications Required

  • Board certification in Small Animal Internal Medicine by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) or the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ECVIM) is essential
  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree is required
  • An active state veterinary board license in good standing and an active DEA license or eligibility are mandatory
