Program Description:<\/b>
• <\/span>Duration: 13 months<\/span>
• <\/span>Objective: To develop well -rounded, confident emergency veterinarians through comprehensive clinical exposure and mentorship<\/span><\/span>
• <\/span>Shift Structure: The schedule is divided evenly among four shift type, daytime ER, overnight ER, hospitalist, and specialty block<\/span>
• <\/span>Hours: Three consecutive 12 -hour shifts per week, with an additional surgery day during hospitalist and daytime ER rotations (average 42 hours/week)<\/span>
• Active participation in ER departmental meetings, Fellow Rounds, lectures, journal clubs, and Morbidity & Mortality rounds
• <\/span>Mentorship: One -on -one mentorship on every case, with interns maintaining primary case responsibility<\/span>
• <\/span>Species Exposure: Interns manage canine, feline, and exotic emergency cases<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

• One -on -one instruction and oversight on all cases and surgeries
• 6 -week Specialty Block for advanced specialty exposure
• Weekly clinical rounds, didactic lectures, and skills workshops
