The clinic offers a varied caseload across wellness, dentistry, routine surgery, and diagnostics. On-site capabilities include digital radiography, digital dental x-rays, an in-clinic laboratory for fast results, an on-site pharmacy, microchipping, orthopedic evaluation/management, and access to telemedicine for follow-up care. The Role
- Serve as the clinical leader for assigned hospitals, mentoring and developing associate veterinarians while partnering closely with practice managers to build an inclusive, collaborative culture
- Balance leadership with direct patient care in a 100 percent hospital-based, working manager role
- Elevate medical quality through case review, medical record audits, patient-safety follow-ups, and coaching on best practices
- Act as the Responsible Veterinarian as required; oversee controlled substance protocols and related compliance
- Champion preventive care standards, client communication, and efficient workflows to deliver timely, high-quality medicine
- Recruit, onboard, and coach veterinarians; provide structured mentorship for new graduates and tailored development for experienced doctors
- Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, including radiation safety and controlled drug management
- Guide hospital KPI performance through data-driven action plans and consistent follow-through
- Coordinate medical equipment needs and maintenance; support capital requests with clear clinical rationale
- Build a strong veterinary leadership bench and maintain succession plans for sustained growth

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Active Florida veterinary license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Proficiency in general practice, dentistry, and routine soft-tissue surgery
- Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills with a focus on engagement and retention
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Competence with digital medical records and modern diagnostic tools
- Ability to travel locally between assigned hospitals within the area as needed
