The Role
- Full-time, hospital-based, working manager position providing both clinical care and leadership across assigned clinics in the Greenville area.
- Lead, mentor, and develop associate veterinarians; oversee onboarding and coaching to build strong surgical, dental, and medical skills.
- Uphold medical quality through case reviews, medical record audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide general practice care directly a portion of the week, contributing to a balanced caseload and team collaboration.
- Partner with practice management to deliver excellent client experience, preventive care adoption, and operational goals.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including controlled substance management and radiation safety.
- Support local recruiting efforts and positive experiences for candidates and student learners.
- Oversee medical equipment maintenance and requests; address escalated client concerns related to medical care when needed.

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited veterinary school.
- Active North Carolina veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop veterinarians and support teams.
- Competence in routine soft-tissue surgery and dentistry; strong clinical judgment across general practice.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with medical record software and comfort with data-driven quality reviews.
- Ability to manage controlled substances in accordance with regulations; willingness to work some Saturdays as needed.
