The Role
- Provide medical leadership, set clinical standards, and champion high-quality, progressive veterinary care
- Mentor and develop associate veterinarians; foster a team-centered, supportive environment
- Partner with hospital leadership on operational and financial health, including KPIs and strategic planning
- Guide medical policies and protocols; promote accurate, complete medical records
- Oversee patient care while maintaining an active clinical caseload
- Collaborate on inventory decisions, equipment planning, and cost-effective utilization
- Ensure compliance with state veterinary regulations and controlled substance management
- Lead regular doctor meetings and participate in DVM recruiting and onboarding
- Support positive client communication and effective transfer of patient care

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- Current license (or eligibility) to practice in Tennessee
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain and maintain)
- 3-5+ years of clinical experience with strong diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills
- Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, and team collaboration abilities
- Excellent communication and client-service skills
- Eligibility to work in the United States
