    Veterinary Medical Oncologist (DVM) – Portland, OR

     

    An established specialty and emergency veterinary hospital in Portland, OR is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Medical Oncologist to join a collaborative, multi-specialty team in a state-of-the-art facility. This is an excellent opportunity to practice advanced oncology alongside experienced specialists in a supportive, growth-focused environment that prioritizes high-quality patient care and positive team culture.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide advanced oncology care for small animal patients
    • Develop and manage comprehensive cancer treatment plans
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgery, internal medicine, neurology, and critical care
    • Utilize advanced diagnostics and imaging to support case management
    • Communicate effectively with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and outcomes
    • Participate in case rounds and contribute to a strong learning environment

     

    Qualifications:

    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent)
    • Board-certified (ACVIM – Oncology) or residency-trained
    • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in oncology
    • Team-oriented with a collaborative and positive approach
    • Excellent communication and client care skills
