Veterinary Office Manager

Mattydale Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced, motivated, and compassionate Office Manager to join our privately owned practice. We are a close-knit team that values collaboration, respect, and exceptional patient and client care. We are looking for a leader who is not only organized and dependable, but also willing to be an active member to our team.

Responsibilities include : 1. providing strong, positive leadership while fostering a supportive team environment

1. managing daily hospital operations and staff scheduling to ensure each department is appropriately staffed based on patient and client needs
2. assisting with hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management
3. managing payroll and other administrative responsibilities
4. promoting teamwork, communication, and a positive workplace culture
5. working alonside the veterinary team as needed and be willing to cross train in all areas of the hospital, including veterinary assistant
6. helping identify opportunities to improve workflow, efficiency, and patient care

Qualifications: previous veterinary experience or management experience required

1. proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and support a team
2. excellent organizational, communication, and problem solving abilities
3. ability to remain calm, confident, and effective in stressful or fast paced situations
4. experience with payroll, staff training, and employee development preferred
5. experience with Cornerstone Practice Management software preferred
6. willing ness to learn all aspects of hospital operations and work collaboratively with every department
