Position Summary
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive veterinary ophthalmology services within the SSVM Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital while contributing to clinical teaching, student mentorship, and continued service excellence.
The Ophthalmology Service is actively seeing patients and has established clinical workflows, referral relationships, and hospital support systems. The successful candidate will join a functioning specialty service with the opportunity to contribute to continued growth, expanded clinical capabilities, and educational excellence.

Salary and Benefits
In accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act, the anticipated salary range for this position is $150,000-$200,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications, experience, clinical expertise, academic rank, appointment track, and appointment percentage. Final salary will be determined at the time of offer.
Faculty at Rowan University are represented by the AAUP and receive a comprehensive benefits package in accordance with collective bargaining agreements and State of New Jersey benefit programs. Benefits eligibility is based on appointment percentage and applicable University policies.

Academic Appointment
This is an open-rank faculty appointment (Instructor through Full Professor) available on either the Clinical Track or Tenure Track, depending on qualifications, experience, and professional goals.
Both full-time and part-time appointments will be considered. Faculty rank, appointment track, responsibilities, and effort allocation will be determined at the time of appointment based on the successful candidate''''s qualifications, career interests, and the needs of the School.
