| Job Description: | Join Our Team as a Veterinary OR Surgical Technician! The AAHA-accredited Small Animal Hospital at the University of Florida is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated Operating Room Technician. As a vital member of our growing team, you will support various hospital services, with a special focus in operating rooms. Key Responsibilities: Assist with surgical procedures and perform routine nursing care, including surgical preparation, aseptic techniques, and patient handling. Sterile Supply & Cleanliness: Keep Sterile Supply and adjacent areas clean and organized. Qualifications: Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly. Why Join the UF Community? May require working earlier than 8:00 am or later than 5:00 pm. Will participate in holiday schedule for covering the emergency and critical care areas. Will be part of the Emergency Response Team.
